  1. Turn ON the electronics.

  2. If your sample is fluorescent, turn ON the light source.

  3. Wait until the microscope has fully loaded. You should see the following screen:

  4. Check that the objective is on the lowest magnification (5x).

  5. Check that the Z position is at “0”.

  6. Open LASX.

  7. Click “Yes”

  8. Calibrate the stage- make sure that nothing will interrupt it!
